Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that, maintenance activities will be conducted on November 11 (Saturday) and 12 (Sunday). This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of these outages are as follow:

·         Isolation of portion of Bacolod-Reclamation 69kV transmission line;

DECOM DECLARES FAILURE OF ELECTION FOR CENECO DISTRICT V – BACOLOD WEST

The District Election Committee (DECOM) for District V – Bacolod West declared a failure of election for Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. special election scheduled last November 4, Saturday.

 

The DECOM composed of Atty. Marianne Carmel Corgos, Arlene Janobas, Jennifer Flores, and Gegie Garcia passed DECOM Resolution No. 2017-02C, declaring a failure of election for the said district since there are no qualified candidate/s for the position of Board of Director.

It can be recalled that a failure of election was also declared on March 4, 2017 Regular District Election due to the same reason, and on March 26, 2017 Special District Election due to the absence of a candidate.

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. reminds its consumers not to fall to individuals posing as CENECO employees selling “electricity-saving” devices.

CENECO is not associated with these individuals and is not endorsing these alleged electricity-saving devices. No technical study has been conducted by CENECO that proves these devices reduce electricity bill.

In the event that you will encounter suspicious individuals who offer you these devices, please immediately call CENECO office at 435-3640 to 55 local 215, or at direct line 431-3962. We also encourage you to take a picture of the suspected sellers. Being aware that their picture is being taken will eventually discourage them to pursue their intentions.
